Monday Motivation!
In today's world, influenced by social media it can be very easy to compare our lives to other people's lives. With our phones always in our hands, and always having access to Facebook, Instagram, Youtube etc in a blink of an eye it can be hard to not notice what other people are doing. While it may be easy to notice what our followers are doing, we must remember to not compare our life to their life.
Yes, we see the fancy clothes and frequent vacations, but we don't know the story behind those clothes and vacations. Social media creates an illusion. Of course someone will only show the good times, and not the journey to their good times. We must remember to not get caught up in the illusion of social media and stay active in reality.
Comparing your life to social media illusions can also negatively derail your motivation and actions. Watching people on social media can create decline in one's confidence and inspiration. So once we stop taking social media and it's illusions so seriously, we will flourish within our own lives.
